Award winning Irish director Aisling Walsh (Song for a Raggy Boy, Damage) is set to attend Kildare County Council’s ‘In Focus’, a forum for film discussion, screenings and exchange of ideas, at the Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge, Kildare on Thursday 22nd May at 8.00pm.
Walsh will join a panel of film industry professionals who will share their film knowledge, experience and expertise with an assembled audience. Members of the Kildare Screenwriters Guild will also be in attendance.
Aisling Walsh’s multi-award winning film ‘Song for a Raggy Boy’ will screen in Riverbank Arts Centre at 5.00pm prior to the forum, while local director David Freyne will present his short musical ‘The Man in 301’, which screened at this year’s International Film Festival in Rotterdam.
