The Citroen Showjumping Ireland Premier Series kicks off on TG4 on June 23rd with new presenters Rachel Wyse and Darren Kennedy broadcasting from venues across the country.
The 10x30 min series, produced by Vision Independent Television, will travel the country for the Premier series, from the first race at the Louth County Show, Dundalk, to the grand finale in Millstreet, Cork.
Rachel Wyse is a presenter with City Channel and has taken part in several international showjumping competitions, while Darren Kennedy is an entertainment reporter on RTE Two and a regular voice on radio shows including 'Mooney' and 'The Gerry Ryan Show'. The series is directed by Denise Dunne with editing completed at Vision Independent TV.
The Premier Series is one of the biggest showjumping events in Ireland offering a prize-fund of €150,000. This series features the country’s top riders including Cian O' Connor, Francis Connors, Edward Doyle and last year's Premier Series winner Clem McMahon to defend his title.
The Citroen Showjumping Ireland Premier Series airs on Monday June 23rd at 7.30pm on TG4. The programme will also be broadcast on SKY Sports 2.
