The Production Depot have announced they have become the sole agent in Ireland for 'Arri Media UK' and 'Arri Lighting Rental UK'. The company has received delivery of a comprehensive equipment package from Arri Media UK that includes 35mm, 16mm, Video, Grip and Stores.

“This stock along with the access to the full range of Arri Media's equipment enables us to supply productions of any size or format,” says John Leahy, Director of The Production Depot. In addition, The Production Depot will soon take delivery of a comprehensive lighting package which will also be based here.

The team at The Production Depot have been very busy of late, providing the The Arri 235 35mm camera (which was only launched late last year) for the U2’s latest music video and Hi Def camera equipment for the television series ‘Pure Mule.’

The Arri 235 camera was used for the first time in Ireland for the making of the promo for ‘Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own’ which will be the next single released from the band’s latest album ‘How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb’. The 235 camera was one of four 35mm cameras used during the week long shoot, the others being an Arricam Studio, an Arricam Lite and an Arri 435. The Production Depot have also supplied HiDef 750 Camera equipment along with the latest Zeiss Digiprimes to the TV Drama 'Pure Mule' produced by Accomplice Television and is currently shooting in Offaly.
