Shooting has wrapped on the 30 minute short film ‘Emily’s Song’. Written/directed and produced by Frank Kelly & Thomas Kennedy, the film stars Irish comedian Jason Byrne, Shane Murray-Corcoran and Eric O’Brien.
The two week shoot took in locations in Drogheda, taking in locations on Bog Lane and St.Olviers Community College.
Talking to IFTN the director Frank Kelly says of his first time behind the lens: “The shoot itself was amazing, it was the most stressed I've ever been and I can honestly say it's the hardest work I've ever done but I've never felt so satisfied or excited about something in my life.”
He praises his cast, crew and co-director/writer/producer Thomas Kennedy and eagerly anticipates the post production in Tumbleweed Studios where editor Daibhi Doran will cut the €15,000 film.
