JD Buckley has been appointed managing director of Sky in the Republic of Ireland. He joins Sky from his own business consultancy where he's been working for the past four years. During this time he took on the interim role as chief operating officer at Prontaprint and Kall Kwik.
Buckley also spent five years working for Irish-owned Digicel. He was CEO of the company’s Cayman Islands business before taking responsibility for the North Caribbean region.
