Lorraine is a director with the LA Make-Up Academy, a Dublin based
elite training academy for make-up artists. Lorraine adopts a
multi-faceted approach to her enterprise, simultaneously developing
new products, organising photoshoots, working consistently on
web-design, liaising with models and photographers while keeping her
business sense pragmatic and personable.
Lorraine is known for catching trends while they're warm, and
transforming them red hot on to the faces of some of Ireland's top
models. Her creative and original slant has earned her respect from
models, make-up artists, stylists and photographers alike. Her Degree
in Business Management articulate a keen practical and dual approach
to her profession. She takes inspiration from her artistic family
background, as well as from her traveling the world, investing in the
creative currency of cultural immersion from Africa to India.
She has worked in web design management, founded a successful hair
group and has contribute to the success of top-ranking titles such as
Social & Personal and Image magazine as well as contributing to
Ireland's premier fashion shoe- 'Off The Rails'. Lorraine has worked
as make-up artist in London , Paris and Sydney.
Lorraine is also a judge for Irish Make-Up Artist of the Year and also
works with artist support groups in Europe and the US. She is a
regular speaker in the industry and also provides articles for print
in Ireland and the US.
Lorraine continues to maintain standards at the forefront of Ireland's
make-up training and developing process. Lorraine devides her time
between LA Make-Up, Los Angeles and her native Dublin bringing with
her the latest trends in both Europe and the US.
